What is a synastry chart?
Synastry compares two birth charts and looks at the angles between one person’s planets and the other’s. Those contacts are read as the dynamics between you — attraction, communication, comfort, friction.
How is this different from sun-sign compatibility?
Sun-sign compatibility uses one factor out of about forty. Synastry uses the whole chart, which is why two Leo–Scorpio couples can feel completely different from each other.
Do we both need birth times?
It works without them, and it works better with them. Without a time the Moon can be off by up to half a sign, and the Moon matters a lot in relationship astrology.
Can a chart tell us whether to break up?
No, and you should be sceptical of anything that claims otherwise. A hard aspect describes a recurring dynamic, not a verdict. Plenty of long marriages are full of them.
Is their birth data sent anywhere?
No. Everything is computed in your browser. The only time details leave your device is if you deliberately share the result link.
